I’m Scott Alexander, the founder of Zander Bass Guitars in Texas. My bass guitar journey started in the 80s as a fan of some the great players and iconic basses from that time period. I am formally trained in music and play guitar, keys, and of course, bass. In addition to playing, I was also brought up programming and running CNC machines and honing my engineering and design skills. This experience was primarily focused in the Aerospace industry.
After playing in bands a good part of my life I started developing the concepts for Zander around 2014 and sat out on a journey to develop not only superior designs and craftsmanship, but also composite manufacturing techniques. This technology can be tricky and expensive and it was my goal to develop reliable, efficient, and affordable processes that I can apply to small batch bass production.
